Happy New Year & A GIVEAWAY!!!

Happy New Year! Raise your hand if it will take you six months to NOT write 2012? Um, that will probably be me. 

Did you make it to the count down. I passed out about 12:02, seriously. Hubs was already asleep at 9:00 p.m.…thank you Nyquil. He woke up this morning and asked him what happened last night. Nyquil hangover? Idk. I was like..um, you passed out on me old man. He said he had a bottle of champagne in the fridge for us to toast at midnight and that he had only planned on taking a “nap”. Wink wink. I would say epic fail with that one buddy.  So, we didn’t party like it’s 1999 but I am totally cool with that.  Update: I am feeling more human today. Thank you for your well wishes. J

A few years ago I decided to NOT make any more resolutions because let’s be honest, that crap never happens. It just lends me to doom and gloom of failure. Whaa whaaa whaaaa. Haha! But, I will share a few goals I have. I try and set short term goals. Here it goes…

v First, I want to be a better steward of our money…saving, spending, you name it, I need a new plan.

v I would like to lose 20 more pounds before summer. This would require me working out more. I know this. I can do that! Hubs and I have done a great job of changing our eating habits last year. I want to add a few 

v I would like to seriously blog more. I have a gazillion pictures I would love to show you. I actually think I will post several of them this week. It will be my picture palooza!

v More pinteresting projects. Who doesn't love that?! I will start with this one this week.It' a magnetic make-up board for the bathroom. I'm on it!

v Uh, I am going to say this very quietly…I hope to get pregnant. Wish, hoping, praying this will be my year.

v And, for the love of Pete, I need to finish my Masters already!

Ok. Those are plenty of goals for now.  What are yours?

I go back to school on Monday. I am so glad I have the rest of this week at home. I still need to take down all of these Christmas decorations. Not really looking forward to that. If you are preparing for going back to school, make sure you check out my seasonal stuff.

Now, you can purchase her things if you live in Waco, but I am thinking you don’t live here…or else we would be for real life BFF’s. Anywho, she is on the right in this picture. Isn’t she the cutest? I love her!
